jonas → The Canadian passport indeed states that it is valid for all countries (unless otherwise endorsed, which it isn't). The French passport doesn't mention anything like this.
sbi → Je m'étais effectivement posé la question, voyant qu'on m'avait annoncé trois semaines pour le passeport canadien et qu'en fait ça a pris deux fois moins longtemps.

that canadian motto is intense. do they not let you into the country unless you pledge to make it better by being there? would that involve picking up litter, or simply smiling at passers-by?

Je suis sûr que les deux services consulaires suivent ton blog
assidûment et se ont fait la course pour ne pas être ridicules en étant
les plus lents. Il est même probable qu'ils se soient accordés
illicitement pour te rendre les documents à peu près en même temps.

If you don't mind me asking, do the passports have a line saying "this passport is valid for all countries of the world" or is it in ours only to remind of the "red" and "blue" passports of the communist era?
