After the black mask in charge of leading Professor La Salle to an exit door came back, all the masks turned simultaneously towards one member of the Council: the King of the Gháns, who had remain silent until now for the Professor not to recognize his voice, removed his own black mask and whispered, calmly but loud enough so the whole assembly could hear him: Make sure this betrayer receives all the pain he deserves for having just -he smiled- "hindered our cause", again. Then lock him up with the corpses of his wife and children. And a rope…
