20 years later i have that same question about the Yi and stumbled upon this post. Unfortunately, it seems to me that except for google recognition, there hasn't been much progress. The 600 phrases are stuck at lesson 9, and the OHCHR still provides a mere scan.
Not that it's really important to me, stumbled upon Yi in a wikipedia spree and wanted to find a bit more. Just wanted to let you know that i asked myself that exact same question.
